CheckSite is a website monitoring platform that automatically tracks changes on publicly accessible web pages and delivers intelligent notifications. Our service includes:
CheckSite monitors publicly accessible web pages only. We do not currently support monitoring pages that require authentication or login.
To use our Service, you must create an account using a valid email address and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through our payment processor Polar.sh. Displayed prices are inclusive of all applicable taxes — the price you see is the total amount you pay.
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for paid subscriptions. If you are not satisfied with our Service, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your most recent subscription payment by contacting us at support@checksite.app. This refund policy applies only to the current billing period and does not cover previous billing cycles.
After 30 days, all payments are final and non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges.
This refund policy does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws, including the EU Consumer Rights Directive (Directive 2011/83/EU).

Our Service uses automated systems, including AI-powered analysis, to detect and interpret website changes. While we strive for accuracy:
CheckSite uses AI models (currently Google Gemini via OpenRouter) to analyze detected changes and generate summaries, categorizations, significance scores, pattern predictions, cross-monitor insights, and action recommendations. This AI-generated content:

While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. Scheduled maintenance, unplanned outages, and force majeure events may affect availability. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance in advance.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using our Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
The CheckSite service, including its software, design, logos, documentation, and original content, is owned by us and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, and trade secret law. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of any content you provide to the Service, including monitoring prompts, notification configurations, and other user-generated settings. By using our Service, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and store this content solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, and improving our monitoring service.
Content captured from third-party websites during monitoring checks is the intellectual property of those websites' respective owners. We claim no ownership over monitored content. Such content is processed solely to provide our change detection and analysis service and is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

You may terminate your account at any time by using the account deletion feature in your account settings or by contacting us at support@checksite.app. Upon termination, your data will be handled in accordance with the data retention schedule in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately and without prior notice if:

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email to the address associated with your account at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Non-material changes may be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the changes, you may delete your account before the effective date. If required by applicable law, we will seek your affirmative consent to material changes.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Poland and applicable European Union law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Poland.
If you are a consumer residing in the EU, you retain any mandatory consumer protection rights afforded to you by the laws of your country of residence, and you may bring legal proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. You may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a competent court, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
