The Extension only collects data for pages you explicitly choose to monitor. We collect:
Page URLs: The web addresses of pages you choose to monitor
Page Title: The title of the page at the time you create a monitor
Monitoring Preferences: Check frequency, notification settings, and monitoring
criteria you configure
Authentication Data
Email Address: Used for account authentication and notifications
Authentication Token: Stored locally in your browser to keep you signed in

Change Detection: Monitoring pages and detecting when content changes

All data transmission uses encrypted HTTPS connections. We do not sell, rent, or share your
data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Extension Permissions Explained
The Extension requests the following permissions:

Access the current tab's URL and title when you open the extension popup.

Store your authentication token and preferences locally in your browser.
Host Access (checksite.app)
Communicate with the CheckSite API at https://checksite.app to authenticate, create monitors, and retrieve your account data. The extension does not
access any other websites.
Data Retention
Monitor Data: Stored until you delete the monitor
Change History: Retained until monitor or account deletion
Authentication Tokens: Stored locally until you sign out or clear browser

Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access: View all data we have about you via your dashboard
Delete: Remove monitors and associated data at any time from the dashboard
Export: Download your data in JSON format, or change history in CSV format
(Pro tier)
Account Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data from your account
settings page

All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption
Authentication tokens are stored securely using Chrome's storage API
